Student Association

Representation

The most important person who represents your views and opinions in the college is YOU, the student! As a student you can voice your opinions and provide feedback through a variety of channels. One of these ways is by becoming a Class Representative.  Dundee College listens to it’s students and take your views and input seriously.  We have a Representational Structure which together with the support of the college and it’s staff, means that students have a way of expressing their opinions and ideas at all levels across the college.  The table below shows you the duties involved in the representative posts of the Students’ Association.

Student Executive Forum

The Student Executive forum consists of the Committee Representatives who sit on the College Standing Committees and the Student President.  Other students can also be co-opted onto the SEF as deemed appropriate.  This committee works with the Student Liaison Officer to ensure the smooth running of Association activities and events and is responsible for the creation of the Operational Plan and ensuring the Association meets it’s objectives.  The SEF also meet regularly to discuss matters arising from the College Standing Committees and other aspects of the student voice.   The SEF also work with the Student Events Co-ordinator to organise, support and promote Association events and activities.

NOTE  -  Detailed information regarding these posts is circulated to all students at the start of term.  This also include, committee remits, nomination forms and election instructions.  Further information can also be found on the Students’ Association Blackboard page.
