Conduct Policy

• Please keep noise to a minimum
• Please check your mobile phone is on silent
• Please take calls outside of the Learning Hub 
• Please do not eat food in the Learning Hub
• Please use computers for educational purposes
• Please return/renew resources on or before the date it is due back
• Please ask for help if you need it!

 Learning Hub Additional Support Policy

• I am unable to access the Learning Hubs due to mobility problems. How can I view/obtain the resources?
  

  The Learning Hub has a broad range of online resources including the Virtual Library, online databases, downloadable guides and an interactive online catalogue. You can access these from any pc via the College webpages. Physical resources such as books and journals can also be sent to you at home free of charge. A free post envelope will be included for you to return them or you can hand them into any College campus. Please contact a member of the Learning Hub Staff for further information.

• I require additional assistance to use the services on campus. How can you help me?

  All Learning Hubs have a full range of assistive technologies available for all students to use. Further details of this service can be found via the downloadable 'Assistive Technologies Guide'. Alternatively contact Derek Culloch for further assistance.

• I find loan periods too short. Can I borrow items for longer?
  

  Yes, if you require additional time to borrow resources due to a recognised disability. You will receive a letter from Student Services which can be handed into the Learning Hub when you register. Your Learning Hub account will be automatically amended. Loan periods will be as follows:

  1 week loan = 2 weeks
  4 week loan = 6 weeks
