The work of 17 Dundee College art students went on show at The Space at the beginning of June when those on the BA design and creativity course exhibited their work at the Kingsway Campus Venue.
The BA course was launched in 2010 and this was the second cohort of students who have completed the degree which is validated and delivered in association with Gray’s School of Art and The Robert Gordon University.
The degree includes specifically created entrepreneurial modules to develop business awareness for students with a commercial orientation.
“We’ve already seen last year’s students go off and secure employment,” commented Dean Robertson, course leader.
“One of last year’s cohort was snapped up by a major publishing firm where he is now employed as a digital media designer.
“We are confident that the course provides students with a level of study and skills which are very much sought after by employers in the creative and digital industries.”
