Entry Requirements
For international (Non EU) applications we require a good pass in a Higher School Leaving Certificate from your own country or International Qualifications such as Cambridge International certificates. For further information on requirements contact International Enquiries
English Requirements
Applicants must have an IELTS minimum score of 5.5 or equivalent, issued within 2 years of the 27 August 2012 start date.

As a UKBA Highly Trusted Sponsor we offer a wide range of courses from Art and Design to Accounting, Business to Beauty Therapy, Computing to Care and many more. Many courses are available at HND SCQF level 8. These courses are certificated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA); the national awarding body for education and training in Scotland are internationally recognised. The college offers an excellent standard of teaching and learning and is regularly inspected by Her Majesty’s Inspectors for Education (HMIe). The College offers different levels of higher education training up to University and Post Graduate level. HND is the equivalent under UKBA guidelines of a Foundation Degree and is regarded as University level education.

Accommodation
We can arrange accommodation for students who have received a visa to study at Dundee College. Contact Maureen Thomson, the Accommodation Officer for details.
Please note that you must arrange accommodation in Dundee or within a maximum of 45 minutes travel from Dundee.
Immigration at the Airport
You should be prepared to answer questions at the airport security check point. This will include where you are studying and living in the UK, why you have chosen your course and your plan for travelling from the airport to Dundee. Your English level may also be tested by immigration to ensure that your English test score was accurate.
Travel from Airport
We can arrange a taxi transfer from Edinburgh Airport which is the nearest international airport to Dundee, less than an hour away. Costs are £70 - £90. Rail and bus connections are also available from Edinburgh city centre, 10 miles from the airport.

Support After Arrival
Within the international team Kathryn Simpson is responsible for liaising with students during their studies at Dundee.
You will be invited to attend an induction day for international students, where you will be given information on registration with a doctor and dentist, banking, buses and student services and you will meet members of the international team.
Dundee College has a dedicated team of Advisers within Learner Services who can provide advice and support to help all students who have problems to make informed decisions and cope with challenges or difficulties.
The Student Advisers are based at the College Advice Centres located on each campus site and they offer specialist advice and information and offer counselling on a range of matters.
