Nepal

April 2009 - March 2011

Our partners in this project are Balaju School of Engineering, Nepal Polytechnic Institute and Nowakot Trade School.   The key joint aim of the partnership has been to design and develop curriculum packages which will increase the employability skills of students.  These pilot modules will be disseminated and embedded into the national curriculum as part of VET reforms.

The primary tangible output from the project is the Munro Solar Power Portable Pack, designed by staff and students in all partner institutions as a sustainable product unique to Nepal .  This product addresses the challenge of limited access to power in Nepal, while educating the future workforce and enhancing the welfare of their communities.
