Academies

The aim of the Dundee Academies project is to support people from unemployment  to sustainable employment through a programme combining preparation for work with in-work mentoring and training delivered in partnership for employers. 

The project has been recognised as a success within the city of Dundee.  The steering group have identified traditionally “hard to fill” vacancies in the private and public sector in and have developed programmes to address the competences and skills required for these vacancies. 

The areas of delivery have been predominantly Health Care, Social Care, Public Services and Education Support services.
