College Life

When you arrive in Dundee you will be invited to attend an induction day for international students, where you will be given information on registration with a doctor and dentist, banking, buses and student services and you will meet members of College staff.

Dundee College has a dedicated team of Advisers within Learner Services who can provide advice and support to help all students who have problems to make informed decisions and cope with challenges or difficulties.

The Student Advisers are based at the College Advice Centres in each campus and they offer specialist advice and information and offer counselling on a range of matters.

Dundee College has two campuses, Kingsway and Gardyne.  Both campuses offer excellent learning environments with up-to-date facilities.  The campuses are easily accessible by bus as car parking is limited for students.

Both campuses have Learning Hubs with books specialising in the subjects taught at that campus.  The Hubs also provide video viewing resources, CD-ROM and IT facilities.

There is a refectory in each campus which opens between 8.15am - 3pm for hot/cold meals and snacks.

Kingsway Campus also boasts KC Cafe, open for delicious coffee and snacks between 8.30am - 3.30pm with lunch being served 12pm-2pm (or until the food runs out!).

The College shops are open between 8.30am-3.45pm (closing at 3.15pm on Fridays) for drinks, confectionary, cards and newspapers.

Vending machines are available all day and evening to provide drinks and confectionary.
