IT Centre

With our IT Centre courses, you don't have to attend College regularly, if at all.  You can choose to work where you want, when you want and at a pace that suits you.

You can study our IT programmes in our Kingsway and Gardyne Learning Centres, with a facilitator on hand to provide support, or, if you have access to appropriate software, at home.

We currently offer:

  • Short CoursesRun throughout the year in 12 week blocks, one day/evening per week for two hours.
  • Flexible CoursesThese classes give the student a flexible approach to learning how computers work.  Classes will run in 20 hour blocks of flexible attendance and are tailored to the students needs.
  • Certificated Courses: Choose from a wide range of British Computer Society and Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications.
  • Online Learning: Although online training cannot replace our flexible training courses that follow our traditional learning methods, the obvious benefits are the ability to train from home or work.
These courses can be studied through dial up and broadband connections on any PC compatible computer for your ease and convenience.

ILA ScotlandILA Funding

ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government scheme that helps you pay for learning that you can do at a time, place, pace and in a way to suit you.  It’s for people who have an income of £22,000 a year or less, or who are on benefits.

All our classes are available through ILA funding.
