Skillseekers Initiative

Skillseekers is training for young people who want to develop skills for the world of work. The initiative is open to people aged 16-19 who have left school and are in employment or who are looking for a job. 

The only exception is students who are still at school or who are already in further education. In some cases, people up to the age of 25 years can take part in the initiative, especially if you are training for a job that requires higher skills. Skillseekers will normally undertake an Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) at Level 2.
