Get Ready for Work Initiative

Get Ready for Work supports young people (16-18 years of age) to move into employment, further training or further education by helping them focus on what they want to do. Young people can also learn new skills and get the confidence they require to move onto further training, learning or into work. 

Participants can expect help to create an individual training plan which will be tailored to meet individual circumstances. The initiative will also give individuals the opportunity to try different types of work via work tasters or work placements to help decide the best type of job or career for that individual.
