A range of activities is currently organised for local schools. We are always happy to consider suggestions and requests.
Schools Visit Day
Every year schools are invited into college to participate in workshops. Your Guidance teacher will give you information about this, or you can contact us at School / Community Liaison.
Day in the Life of...
Our "Day in the Life of" project which runs during March, April, May and June is open to all S3 school pupils in Dundee. This offers the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a person working in one of over 20 different career areas, covering occupations as varied as Accounting and Welding.
Parent / Carer / Pupil Evenings
The college offers sessions for groups of parents, carers and pupils to attend particular courses. A recent event focused on internet awareness and access to our learning centre at Kingsway Campus.
School Link Programme
Available for S5 / S6 school pupils on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, School Link offers a wide range of subjects to assist pupils to prepare for college or university study. A number of Highers such as Psychology, Sociology, Tourism, Economics, Mechatronics, Biotechnology and Office Administration, as well as Advanced Highers in French, German and Spanish are also available by negotiation for S6 pupils.
Work Experience Placements
We can provide work experience placements for S4 pupils in Hairdressing / Beauty Therapy, Computing, Catering and Gardening.
