School Liaison
The school liaison team works actively with all the schools in Dundee and the surrounding area in a variety of projects and programmes. Many of our students join our full or part-time programmes directly from school.
Full-time Programmes
Christmas Leavers, aged fifteen and a half, can apply for National Qualification and introductory programmes with the permission of the school Head Teacher.
S4, S5 & S6 leavers can apply for over 20 National Qualification and introductory programmes, many of which have no formal entry requirements. S5 & S6 leavers with standard and higher grades can apply for National Qualification or Higher National Certificate / Diploma programmes.
Our School and Community Team can arrange for school pupils to come to College to experience College life for a day, and participate in College study sessions. Pupils who are interested in this should speak to their guidance teachers in school.
Schools can arrange for groups of school pupils to visit and tour the College. Pupils can see round our modern workshops and facilities. Schools can arrange this by contacting our School and Community Team.
For S5 and S6 pupils there is the opportunity to study a certificated course at College on an infill basis. Where a subject is not available in your school, your school can request that you study that subject at College throughout the year, if a College place is available for you. This should be arranged through school guidance teachers and our School and Community Team.
Use your School GLOW Network to find Dundee College links for up to date information.
