Requirements
Two Highers or one A-level. GSVQ and NC qualifications as appropriate.
Content
This course focuses upon games development, and builds a strong foundation for those who wish to enter this growing industry. Whilst there is study of 2/3D design, the course focuses, in the main, upon games design, team work, project management, animation and programming. The course contains a diversity of both technical and art based disciplines as this provides the best preparation for working in the games industry.
Future Prospects
Excellent prospects for employment in games and media industries where there is a requirement for state-of-the-art digital technologies. This programme is designed to lead to employment within the Computer Games Industry or entry to higher level study at HNC/D or degree level.
