Community Planning Partnership

In partnership with Dundee City Council’s economic development department the College delivers a number of European-funded projects,  primarily aimed at helping those who are currently out of work and looking to progress into employment, via the Community Planning Partnership.  The College is one of a number of partners in Dundee’s “Employability Pipeline” which comprises 8 stages (from initial referral through specialist interventions, training and work placement opportunities) leading to employment.

Once successful participants are in employment, the pipeline partners offer an “in work aftercare” service. The College involvement includes employability skills training, preapprenticeship training, training for lone parents and those with disabilities, training for people accessing College and employability (PACE), the Dundee academies and a number of progression programmes for participants.
