Workforce Development
Partnerships with industry and with public and community bodies are key to the success of our development.
The College has engaged with many partners to deliver training to a wide range of participants including, school leavers, adult-returners, lone parents, and long-term unemployed as well as catering for the needs of employed people by offering a range of opportunities to develop and enhance their skills within the workplace.
Our public sector partners include the Scottish Government’s skills agency, Skills Development Scotland (SDS), Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Development International, the Community Planning Partnership (CPP) with Dundee City Council, NHS, Tayside Police and Tayside Fire Service, as well as colleges and universities across Scotland and internationally.
By undertaking a range of activities we are becoming recognised as a major player in the economic development of the city and have been successful in securing income from non grant funded sources.
