Student Work Placement Programme

A business led student work placement programme that provides employers with access to the skills and knowledge of some of Scotland’s finest college and university students.

Scottish Chambers of Commerce is the lead business partner for the programme, working closely with the Alliance of Sector Skills Councils Scotland to ensure business needs are managed effectively.

• As host employer, you lead on length of assignment, location and timings; ensuring the placement fits with the needs of your organisation.
• Your business need will be captured and translated into a defined project with measurable outcomes.
• If your project is applicable to the skills available, you will receive a shortlist of candidates for interview.
• As employer you would pay only reasonable expenses incurred e.g. travel
