Free Online Soft Skills Training Opportunity for Non-Managerial Staff

Businesses in Tayside have the opportunity to develop their staff* and their business FREE OF CHARGE, through a European Social Funded (ESF) project called Skills for Scotland.

This course will be delivered by online learning over the equivalent of 2 days. The 2 days online can be completed at your home, office or in the college. The Skills for Scotland initiative focuses on personal development through practical interactive activities and reflective practice. This involves individuals in gaining a greater understanding of themselves and their team with a view to enhancing performance.

Individual Benefits

The course allows each participant to evaluate and review their own soft skills, and subsequently identify the ones they feel they would like to develop further. The development of these identified soft skills is done via a project at work which commences after the course.  Each participant identifies skills that will help to develop their self awareness, interpersonal and task management skills. The tutor continues to offer help to set personal targets and gives support throughout the project via email, or face to face if required.

Business Benefits

Managers of previous attendees have reported improved profitability, increased productivity, reductions in waste & freeing up management time as wider business benefits of operational staff attending.
