Flexible Training Opportunities

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) has recently introduced the Flexible Training Opportunities programme which gives Scottish businesses (1-150 employees) the opportunity to apply for up to £500 towards employee training costs.

Dundee College Working With Business team are able to discuss and identify your training needs to help ensure that you make the best possible use of the Flexible Training Opportunities funding.

The College is able to deliver many of the training options which are eligible for funding.

Funding is available for up to 10 employees per business to undertake one period of training each. SDS will refund 50% of the training costs with an overall maximum of £500 per course. For example, if a period of training costs £1200, they will refund the maximum £500, if it costs £300, they will refund £150 - effectively doubling your training investment.

The money is not a loan so there's no need to pay it back.
