The Vision

Use the estate change as a focus to rationalise & improve all our services
The College’s long term aim remains to consolidate the estate to the Kingsway and Gardyne campuses and to dispose of the remaining three buildings at Constitution Road, Graham Street and Melrose Terrace.
The estates planning process has been underway since 2003. In January 2008 the Scottish Funding Council confirmed ‘in principle’ funding for the plans to refurbish the Gardyne Campus and to finally move to the College’s two campus estate. We have completed the process required and signed a contract with a major construction company.
Construction work is set to be complete for the start of the academic term 2011 and the overall project budget is set at £43m.
The Gardyne Campus will be a flagship building and the systems of work and services to support students are being specified to the highest possible level.
