The estates planning has been underway since 2003.

In January 2008 the Scottish Funding Council confirmed 'in principle' funding for the plans to refurbish the Gardyne Campus and to finally move to a two campus estate.

We signed a contract in November 2008 Bovis Lend Lease to be the major contractor for the project.

The Gateway 4 submission was made to SFC by March 2009.

Construction work is set to be complete for the start of the academic term 2011.
